In Louisiana, Hurricane Ida (4611-DR-LA) was declared on August 29, 2021. The Housing Authority of Lafourche Parish (HALP) provides low-income housing and suffered damage to many of the residential structures due to hurricane-force winds and heavy rains. In response to the devastation created by Hurricane Ida, D. A. Lamont Consulting Services has been engaged in grant management for HALP.
The D.A. Lamont Consulting Services Team has provided Grant Management policy expertise, departmental and client deliverables, and control over the product development. DALCS adapts well to the changing priorities while responding with creative and effective solutions oversight to the client and the Grant Management team.
HALP has been a recipient of nearly $1M in federal recovery program funds to assist in the rebuilding of the housing authority facilities and the community for which they serve. The DA Lamont Consulting Services Team provided leadership throughout the process by promoting team coaching, performance counseling, and training of the PA Grants management team.
