Shawnee Public Schools, Oklahoma | 2023 Tornado Recovery
Since the April 19, 2023, tornado event that ripped through the community of Shawnee there remains damages and recovery efforts throughout the city, including several facilities in the Shawnee Public School system.
The D.A. Lamont Consulting Team provided expert guidance to Shawnee PS with FEMA Public Assistance (PA) program and the FEMA 404 Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP). Our team also provided grant accounting and administrative support for disaster grants pursuits and reimbursement. D. A. Lamont Consulting Services has been engaged in grant management with Shawnee PS of $1.3M in approximate federal recovery program funds to assist in the rebuild of the educational facilities for which they serve.
